About Us

As a faith-based, nonprofit organization and ministry, Oasis of Peace will continue to operate in the area of abuse recovery. In addition, Into the Nations will go forth and bring in new converts through evangelistic crusades and outreaches for the purpose of placing them temporarily into the expanded services of OOP. Once there, OOP will offer recovery and healing services, deliverance from addictions, trauma counseling, as well as repressed childhood abuses. Based upon the progress and completion of each individual's recovery plan, OOP will subsequently place each new Christian into a loving, local fellowship or church that will offer them the discipleship they need to grow in their faith. This will provide and enable the new Christian to stay the course and to build upon the solid foundation that has already been set before them. OOP and ITN are unashamed to declare its dedication to the Christian faith, offering Christian prayer and counseling, both in groups and individually. OOP and ITN recovery services is comprised solely upon the principles and precepts of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through His Holy Word to bring forth healing and deliverance that is so desperately needed in today's society.

Personal Life:
I was raised in a very conservative Christian home. My parents, especially my mother, required us to attend Church as often as possible. I was saved at the young age of three years old and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at the age of seven. Subsequently, I was water-baptized twice, first as a young child and then again in my adolescence. I walked closely with the Lord throughout my childhood. I also assisted with the children's Church music and singing and would pray with the children who answered the altar call for prayer.

Just as Jeremiah the Prophet, the Lord called me before I was formed in my mother's womb. This was confirmed to me by my mother later in life. God spoke to her three years before I was born and told her that her next child would be a girl. While giving birth, she had a vision pertaining to the call of God upon my life.

As a young adult and later in life, I suffered many years of intense, fiery trials. It was at this point that I began a "quest for truth" journey to try to find the answers to numerous, unanswered questions. (To read my personal testimony, "Against All Odds," click on the "Ministry" tab on the Homepage of this website and go to "Stories")

Ministry Overview:
It was the Lord, not man, who called me into His ministry. In 1991, the Lord commissioned me to "Preach the Word." Subsequently, I obeyed and entered into public ministry. For several years, I was ministering on the radio, hosted and coordinated several conferences, held weekly meetings, and worked evangelistic outreaches and crusades. I also held positions as an Associate Pastor and a Praise & Worship Leader. I've been privileged to work behind the scenes with numerous ministries, both large and small, local and international. Over the past 18 years, I've been the Founder and Director of three ministries. I am currently Co-Founder, Director and Board Chair for Oasis of Peace, Inc. (OOP), a nonprofit faith-based organization. In 2008, an evangelistic counterpart ministry to OOP, Into the Nations (ITN), was birthed.

I'm humbly honored to be used by our Lord and therefore take His call upon my life very seriously. To Him belongs all the glory & honor! It's my earnest desire to be used to further expand and enhance the Kingdom of God according to Mark 16:15-18, to "Preach the Word" according to II Timothy 4:2-5, and to preach the Gospel with the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost with "signs and wonders following". Also, I desire to be used profoundly as an instrument in the hand of the Lord --"going forth" into the harvest fields and working "while it is daytime, because the night is coming when no one can work."

The affiliate organization for my ordination is the
Assemblies of God International Fellowship (AGIF) . The foundational scripture references for my call into the ministry are: II Timothy 4:2-5 & Jeremiah 1:5-10.

Ministry Vision:

Oasis of Peace (OOP) was birthed in June 2002 at a poolside meeting in St. Augustine, Florida. Since its incorporation in February 2003, OOP has provided training and advocacy, rescue, shelter, counseling, and placement for abused women and children. It will continue to offer abuse recovery services, including counseling for trauma victims, and other services such as addiction counseling, follow-up with each client, and the placement of new converts into local fellowships and churches. The scripture that best describes our organization's vision is found in Isaiah 61:3: "to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified".

In 2008, the Lord expanded the vision and a new counterpart ministry Into the Nations (ITN) was birthed and officially announced to the Board of Directors on January 17, 2009. Into the Nations compliments and completes the original vision of OOP by serving as the outreach and evangelistic counterpart. ITN's scripture foundation is based upon Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
